Representing the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, MrBase is an open format DJ and the founder of the entertainment entity ‘Basejam Productions’. With over 25 years of experience, he has developed an intuitive blend of mixing genres that captivate the imagination of generations of music lovers with a diverse range of mixes, suited for any event, taking the party-goer on a timeless, memorable musical journey.
When it comes to the style of mixing, Basejam Productions has a uniquely different perspective. The fundamental belief of creating a nostalgic atmosphere, with the timeless classics of the 70s, 80s, and 90s selectively blended with the genres produced today, is specifically intentional. Giving it an Old School flavor, many of today’s young party-goers now a deeper appreciation for the foundation of the music they now enjoy, which mature ‘limers’, would have grown up listening and partying to in their younger days.
Skills and talent has no limits as MrBase has also had the experience of being a ‘Rapso’ artiste, and spends time in the studio producing music. He has been involved in the creation of several audio projects in Trinidad and Tobago over the years and has even collaborated with DJ Mz’ of Lab39 in Barbados.
